Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I participate in Couchsurfing because I love welcoming travelers from all over the world and giving them the chance to experience cultural exchange. My home in Bohol is surrounded by the Chocolate Hills, about 54 km from Port of Tagbilaran City and 12km away of Tubigon Port. Transportation in Bohol is not very reliable, so staying with us allows travelers to enjoy beautiful views of the hills along the way.
I live in a simple neighborhood with my wife, our 3 years old daughter and my mother. We have pigs, chickens, dogs, turkey and a small farmland. We are a poor family, but we have a big heart and love sharing our home and culture with visitors.
I also offer an optional tour around Bohol, including the Chocolate Hills, Tarsier sanctuary, Canawa Spring, Falls and Many Local and Tourist sites. Please note that this tour is not an obligation and includes a fee. Staying with us is completely free. The tour is only for travelers who have limited time and want to maximize their stay in Bohol. In that case, I can be your driving guide.
I’m on Couchsurfing to help travelers, not to do business but booking me as a driving guide helps support my family more than you may realize, and I truly appreciate it but again it’s not compulsory.
Couchsurfing has been a great experience for me—meeting people from different cultures and exchanging knowledge. The Couchsurfing community is friendly and meaningful.
