About Me

Hello! I've reached my 30s and want to experience more out of life. I can be shy and quiet, but my personality really shines in small groups. I am adventurous and down to try everything with a positive energy. I try to bring joy to those around me and encourage people to be their best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been living in the same city for 8 years now and am looking to meet some new friends around the world. I have few responsibilities at this time and think it is an ideal time to travel. My city can make me depressed in the winter months, and I hope to head to warmer climates because I love the sun.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music; especially live concerts (outdoor shows are my favorite). My favorite band is probably Radiohead, but I listen to a wide range of music and like to stay current on what is coming out each week/month.

I rarely go to the theater, but still love movies. I watch Netflix and other TV shows. I could seriously list like hundreds of things... I just watched Chernobyl on HBO and it was incredible. I plan on seeing the new Avengers movie but haven't gotten around to it yet haha. I tend to prioritize outdoor activities to movies.

I read about 10 books a year usually based on recommendations from friends and family. I am slowly working through the Witcher series (fantasy) but also read non-fiction. Additionally, I love comic books/ graphic novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Africa by myself a few months ago for 3 weeks and met so many amazing people and had an incredible time. That trip is a large part of why I'm looking to travel so much and join couchsurfing.
