ABOUT ME
I live in Austin, TX and have for the majority of my 29 years on this planet. I've been a professional free lance musician for the past 13 years. I listen to just about any kind of music, read everything there is to read, and give any movie a chance. I really enjoy showing people around Austin, because I usually find something new about it every time. This isn't really the best venue to explain all about myself, I prefer a conversation with another human being so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
PHILOSOPHY
"Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started to use couchsurfing as a place to help when I'm booking shows around the country or just traveling for leisure.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I tend to enjoy hanging out with the nightlife kind of people out there. Most of the people I've met through my travels have been fellow musicians/entertainers and their friends, and I've had a blast seeing great music all over.
Interests
Music, interesting conversation, a great book, coffee and cigarettes, my dog, playing my bass, saxophone, or guitar, woodworking, traveling, camping (specifically backpacking), fly fishing, good movies, meeting new people, girls with tattoos, and lots and lots of other stuff...

Music, Movies, and Books
Any music that's good, I'm not genre specific when it comes to listening. If it's good, I'm into it.
My favorite authors of all time are R. A. Salvatore, George R. R. Martin, Brandon Sanderson, Kurt Vonnegut, J. R. R. Tolkien, Robert Jordan, Douglas Adams, and too many more to list here.
As far as movies are concerned, it's just like music for me, I'm not genre specific, if it's good, I'm there.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the honor of performing to a crowd of several thousand at the 2007 Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be happy to help anyone who is serious about learning anything about the following:
Music (playing, practicing, performance, theory, arranging, composition, booking, etc.)
Woodworking/Carpentry
Card Manipulation/Sleight of Hand
Camping and Fishing (I'm an Eagle Scout)
Countries I’ve Visited
