I've traveled all over the place. I don't know if anyone else experienced this too or if I just listened but it seems like every old man I met while I was younger told me to have fun and travel to the places that I'd like to see while I'm young. Before I get responsibility, so I've tried to do this until pretty recently. I turn 35 next month and have sort of started to feel the need to settle down for a change. I dare say even have kids... I can't believe I'm saying it myself :) It happens to all of us eventually I guess. If you are a traveler too and need a pause between adventures hit me up, we would probably have some good talks and can give eachother good advice on where to go etc... At the moment I'm managing a few commercial and residential properties for an investor here in Dallas and putting money in the bank until the next thing I just have to go do/experience.

I've used couchsurfing more than a few times over the years to meet interesting people and get from point a to b. I thought I'd get back into it but in reverse this time. The most interesting people I've ever encountered were fellow travelers I met while traveling the country. Whether it's a night or a few days give me a call maybe I can help you out.

ALOT of interests

I'm sort of a ninja and amaze myself daily. I believe hard times make a person stronger so I have sought them out during certain seasons of life. It kind of gets addicting to see yourself grow every time you try it. Sometimes you fail, but you always grow in ways you many times don't expect. I sort of became fascinated by it all and just continued to do it. I lived in the woods for months alone once. I lived in the woods with hundreds and sometimes thousands of other travelers at secret traveler gatherings of sorts all around the country. The past five years or so I've done the Berkeley/Oakland area scene, I've stomped all over the California redwoods having fun, I've explored the rain forest up in Washington State on the Olympic Peninsula, I've explored Colorado quite a bit, I got to live on an Indian reservation in North Dakota a good bit of last year, and oh I just moved from the Florida Keys. Quite a few stops in between but that's some of my amazing life lately.

I was interviewed on the second largest radio station in the world for an hour about banking corruption while protesting in DC.

Blow up bed and a cot are available for guests. Quite a few sleeping bags and bedding stuff. My place is really best envisioned as a place to recoup and catch up on reading or something until your next move. The TV is in my bedroom and it's just a one bedroom apartment so it'll be short on entertainment but great for sleeping, showering, etc.. I have a laptop I can let you borrow if you need to as well.
