I am from the U.S. and graduated very recently. I am trying to get some traveling in before going to work in October. I finished up my degree in Civil Engineering in three years, which is faster than normal. However, I am not sure what I completely want to do yet. I have signed for a career in construction management, but I plan to try new things before committing to it. I know that I still have some searching to do, and growing for the matter. I think the best way to do that is to be exposed, whether it is to different people, or academics, etc.
I'm super excited for all the possibilities, but also a little nerve-wrecked by the idea of traveling solo without having ever done so before. Nonetheless, I want to give it a try for the experience of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking for a genuine experience of traveling. I'd love to do some site-seeing and just experience the people and nightlife of the area also.
As for being hosted, I am very respectful of boundaries and welcome anyone to vocalize their expectations of me for staying at their place. If you will have me, I will love to get to know more about you and share my story with you.
And just getting to know people!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing to crazy yet! Just graduated, so i guess so far it is graduating with an engineering degree in 3 years and landing a job, along with paying my way through college!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my story and what I have learned so far. I think the most fulfilling thing for travel is as simple as a different perspective.
