A South Carolina boy traveling across America by longboard (with my friend Cody Altmiller). We started in Cody’s hometown of Edmond, OK and we’re headed to my hometown of Greenville, SC. I love to write, sing, play ping pong, and make apple bread. Oh and I like coffee a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m traveling across the country on a longboard. I’m homeless by choice. I’ve always wanted to surf but I’ve never lived on the coast. So I figured I would practice surfing by starting out with couches.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the song “Take it All Back” by Judah & the Lion. I love Ben Rector, the Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Jon Bellion. I cried during the movies Forever Strong, Warrior, and South Paw. My mind was blow during the movies The Prestige, Shutter Island, and Secret Window. Hot Rod. Anchor Man. I’ve read “Radical” by David Platt 1.2 times through already. “Love Does” by Bob Goff inspired me to go across the country. I’d love to write a fictional book someday.
