Hello, I am a welsh PhD student in my final year focusing on the write up of my thesis. I aim to start working properly shortly with the aim to get into Motorsport. I love most sports and will try most new things. I can be rather shy until I feel welcome and then I become a totally different and altogether better person or so I've been told.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The idea was recommended to me by a friend who has done it before, I love the principle and the idea of all the cool people and stories that could be experienced. Currently I am back living with my family as I write up my thesis so there is not the option to offer out space but I hope to be able to one day soon.

Interests

I love most sports but especially cycling, rock climbing, sailing, wind surfing and hiking. I love to socialise though I can be quite at first and when I am not out being social or working I enjoy relaxing with a movie or some video games.
Oh also rather addicted to cars and spend a lot of my time either fixing one for someone or building my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have very little preference when it comes to music, my choice will depend upon my mood / what I am doing and the selection can vary from classical (rarely but it does happen) through to rock and heavy metal.

watching a movie on my own I love nothing more that a Hollywood blockbuster that I can switch my mind off during or a nice horror film. however with friends I prefer something that makes you think and allows you to discuss after, eg. Ex machina.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Built a road legal racing car from basically scratch, it started life as a mini but is now just a shell with nearly ever original component replaced with bespoke parts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

this is a real tough one as to myself I seem rather boring though I should hope I am not. I have been know to bake some pretty awesome welsh cakes, and have many a comical story to tell.
