My name is Justin and I am a 22-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri with a passion for travel and cultural exchange. I spent a semester in Italy studying communication and the Italian language. Now I am headed back to Europe in search of a more immersive, authentic adventure. I want to extend my budget for as long possible so that I can meet as many people as possible - people with whom I can laugh and dance and sing. Whether you can meet up for a night or host me for a few, I am eager to share in this adventure with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mostly, I travel because I am interested in people. I am bothered by the fact that there are so many extraordinary people in the world and I can't meet them all. This couchsurfing community is incredibly unique because it provides a human network of interesting people willing to share what they have - their lives, their stories, their homes - with others. I want to hear your stories and learn from your life!

Interests

I have pursued a wide range of interests from stand-up comedy to singing a cappella. Most of all, I love music, social justice, writing, and any quirk of life that can make me laugh.

Music is a huge part of my life. I'm okay at playing it (Saxophone, guitar, piano and vocal chords), but prefer to listen.

I read less than I should as a human, much-less a writer. Of the books I have read, though, my all-time favorite is On The Road by Jack Keroauc.
