Music: Most any genre other than modern country. Classic country is just fine. Favorite bands include Foster the People, Stop Light Observations, Local Natives, St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens, Tribe Called Quest, etc.

Movies: Hard to pick favorite movies but favorite directors include Richard Ayoade, Taika Waititi, Spike Jonze, Charlie Kaufman, Edgar Wright, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino.

Books: Enchanted Night, Catch-22, Alice in Wonderland, Blink.
