I want to travel the world, meet people, write a book, and keep my friends and family updated on my travels via my blog.

I studied to be an aircraft engine mechanic, but I found working for large companies to be less than fullfilling for my soul. I want to travel and help real people with their everyday needs rather than working to earn money for someone else.

While travelling, I am also trying to find new inspiration for my book and the other stories I write.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been travelling with the Workaway program and I really enjoy it. Hosts for volunteers are not always found in the places I want to visit, though, so I thought I would seek alternate means of housing. As a volunteer, I am used to working for housing and food. I'd be happy to help you out as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Starship Troopers is my favorite book. Heinlein touched on some interesting topics and ideas.

For movies, I grew up with a lot of Mike Myers, Kevin Smith, and Monty Python.

I enjoy metal music, mostly, but I habe many other styles that I like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I have done is, honestly, the journey I am currently on. I sold all of my things and plan to continue travelling until I find somewhere to call home.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a few story ideas, an appreciation of beer, a basic knowledge of mechanics, and a perspective on different languages.
