In 2020 I will be doing a 1-2 year long backpacking trip across Europe and Asia.
I am an engineering intern, finishing up my BS in mechanical engineering. I love to travel, explore, and help others. I am doing some trips around the states, to get my traveling feet ready.
I love to do just about anything outside, playing any sport, hiking, eating, you name it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is expensive. I am looking for friendly people to stay with. I would love to exchange stories, experiences, and become friends. I would like to travel the world and help others in need, this allows me to do both in an effective way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped a mentally and physically disabled child use a motorized kids car, by engineering a new drive system and input system. I worked with an electrical engineer and physical therapy doctoral student. The project was over the course of 6 months and has been one of the most impact-ful projects I have ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach others about sports, both watching them and playing them. I am fluent in English and am always willing to help others practice.

I would love to learn anything you have to offer. I am especially interested in learning how to cook more dishes how to garden/farm, practicing new languages, learning to play music, and various other topics.

We can share stories, laughs, and memories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A friendly personality and a helping hand. You are doing me a favor and I greatly appreciate that. I will be sure to leave your place as clean or cleaner than when I arrived. Learning is done by doing. So if you are teaching me something new, I am certainly willing to do the work needed (Even if that means we go garden your yard together).
