Currently I am a lost soul. Had plans, dont got them no more. So the world is my oyster....i just dont know where i want to shuck it!

ABOUT ME

I moved to Brasil in 2011 with my girlfriend at the time so that I could pursue capoeira training and the portuguese language as well as try to start a Brasilian branch of an NGO I am the Director of.
Things didnt work out. No longer in a relationship and plagued by bureaucracy I have no idea where my life plan will take me. For now I am living in Belo Horizonte teaching english, training capoeira, and trying to learn how to dance forro and to play the cavaco.

Not sure where i will end up next but i will be moving in the up coming year.

I have yet to participate on this couchsurfing website. But am looking forward to hosting and to being hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As mentioned, I have yet to participate directly with the website in hosting or being hosted.

However in the world of capoeira there are constantly people from across the world showing up in different cities for events. More often than not these are last minute arrivals and notifications. I myself have slept on many cold floors in various Brasilian and American cities. But as a host I try to make stays as comfortable as possible. The last event here in BH i had 5people stay with me and was able to arrange sleeping pads and blankets for everyone. It was quite an experience.
