I am a genuine, fun guy who loves doing and learning new things. I try to have no reservations in being outside of my comfort zone. I enjoy being around people but I also enjoy having solitude. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am interested in couchsurfing because it allows me to meet genuine like minded people. There is no better way to experience a new city / country than through a local. When I travel like to experience the tourist attractions but to truly visit and appreciate I want to do as a local would. Last but certainly no least is the fact that couchsurfing isn't just a benefit for me but for the host as well. I think having a visitor allows the host to see their own city / country through fresh eyes and appreciate things that they might take for granted.

I am interested in culture, adventure, music, food, lifestyle, outdoors and people! Not just in this order but in various ones =). From New York I am fortunate to get a small taste of this every day but when I do travel I want to experience through all five of my senses. Music taste varies from Hip Hop, Pop, Blues, Blue-Grass, Folk, etc...Not a big fan of country. However, I appreciate music for what it evokes.

Movies - Dramas, Action, Thrillers, Comedies...I enjoy movies that take place in local settings (my own city) but most of all just to escape reality. One of my Favorite movie Shawshank Redemption

Books - The Paradox of Choice, Bike Snobs, A Dog's Purpose, Jay-Z Decoded, Fresh off the Boat, Steve Jobs, etc... I enjoy reading books that challenge me or enlightens me to see things differently, but I also enjoy reading for the sake of reading.
