ABOUT ME
Very easy going guy, would be a surf bum if I could surf. Bit of a environmentalist, but I have a business background too, so I hide it well. Like seeing new places, but I like to get a feel for what its like to live there not just visit. EPA contract marine biologist by day, pub-crawler by night.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well my roommate was into couch surfing and we co-hosted several times. It worked out well and I learned I liked hosting. Haven't been in a position to surf someone else's couch yet though. I especially like hosting people from different parts of the world. It makes me appreciate things differently, like one time we introduced someone to SNL, something I always assumed everyone was familiar with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had some cool diving experiences. Everyone else thinks seeing sharks/turtles is cool, but I think my best dive was with some reef squid who were laying eggs. You don't see that very often and they have some really cool colors/displays.
Been around the water with some world class athletes (Olympic divers, swimmers and water polo players)
