ABOUT ME

Hello! I grew up in Colorado and have a lifelong love of everything outdoors because of this. I'm a bit quiet at first when I don't know what to say, but once some wheels get turning I open up quite a bit. I love hiking, skiing, climbing, camping, backpacking, etc., but also things like music and art. I have a nerdy side and an engineering degree, neither of which are being put to much use right now. I enjoy traveling and experiencing things I would have never known, whether it's in the states or somewhere farther away. I've been living in Germany for the last year as a random change of scenery and I've loved every minute of it. It has been fun teaching English here and I've enjoyed getting to know my German students. I'm usually pretty laid back, somewhat cynical, but always down for a good time with good people. I've also thoroughly enjoyed beer in Germany, but overall I think the beer in the US is better. NOT the cheap US beer (coors, budweiser, etc), which is water. I'm talking about the good microbrews that make some fantastic IPS's, pale ale's, amber ale's, wheat beer's, and stouts. Overall I believe life is only as fun as you make it, which is why I'm here.
