I am currently a grad student at MIT/HMS. I have a rough sense of what I might like to do when I (finally?) graduate, but nothing's set in stone yet.

In terms of interests:

- I have a pretty broad range of academic interests, from cultural anthropology, to economics/public policy, to engineering/science. I did policy debate back in high school, which has shaped a lot of how I think about things/organize my thoughts, and as an engineer-at-heart, I love thinking about how/why things work.

- Outside of academics, I like to hike, scuba, and just travel in general. I also like to tinker with/hack random hardware and software projects in my free time.

It's a dream of mine to make and sell science toys someday (targeted at kids but based on preliminary trials, it seems like adults like them a lot too). I've got a lot of ideas/demos already in the pipeline but am always looking for any other neat demos to add to the repertoire.

If any guests have come across any science experiment or demonstration that they think is super-neat, I would love to hear about it! (don't worry about not knowing how it's done or if it's super expensive to do - it's a hobby of mine to think of ways to make cool science accessible to the general public).
