About Me

I am a very friendly, out going person. I have a passion for music! Decided to go to college because "that's what you're supposed to do after highschool". Well after 3 1/2 years of taking psychology "just because" I decided to start DJing. I am actually pretty good at it too! I am the type of person who will speak out when something in wrong. I am also the type of person who could go all philosophical on that and be like "right and wrong is all about perspective". Seriously though, friendly and considerate person here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Want to get out of my college town. Broke but defiantly willing to do chores around the house for a place on the couch! I am trying to get to a city where there are jobs/ opportunities to DJ! Since I lived in the mountain view area throughout highschool, I have connections there as far as jobs go. Really trying to get back on my feet/ have new experiences/ meet people along the way. One day I hope to be able to return the favor to others in need to a place to crash!

Interests

Djing, anything EDM/ electro, rap, metal, punk... just don't play the top 40 :D

I love philosophy and can talk about anything under that subject for hours... eh who am I kidding; i'll talk about pretty much any intelligent thing for hours! Seriously though, I don't care about the weather being sunny or not. I can see that :P I am the type of person who would rather have meaningful convo or no convo at all. But with me, there will always be meaningful convo!

Psychology is actually a passion of mine, just not in the classroom. I honestly don't mind listening to problems, but you gotta be down to listen to my advice.. I don't really sugar coat things :) .. and by don't really I mean never. I actually have an issue there as I have no filter. By this I just say things as they are and it may come off harsh but why sugar coat things? Not trying to be harsh and it's not like I come off as malice; I just state things have I see em. I also don't mind people telling me I am wrong as life is one big learning experience!

I am down to drink but it's not really something I have to do. I like to drink after I have accomplished something mainly, else I feel like I am wasting time. Doesn't mean I won't drink with you for the hell of it, just means I won't drink with you for the hell of it and noon... Okay I lied there :)

Board games, video games, talking, walking, listening to music, honestly the list goes on for days and I honestly am open to new things. Just this last year I learned two cultures ( saudi Arabian and Brazilian). With that being said I love to cook! Can make Kabsa (saudi chicken and rice) or Bicol Express (filipino coconut pork). .. can teach you too!!! Only thing is with the kabsa you gotta eat with your hands :P (if we doing the culture we eating like the culture)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: EDM/electronica - Electro house, trap, deep house, trance, dubstep, industrial... i like it all

Movies: Accepted is my favorite but i'll watch anything. You a chick looking for a chickflick buddy? I gotchu! You a dude looking for a mac and devin go to highschool bro? I gotchu! Family oriented wanting to rock the lion king? I gotchu... well everyone loves the lion king!

Books: I honestly don't read much. I defiantly can read haha just all the boring yet informative novels from english kinda killed it for me. If only I could have read star wars or something sci fi... naw got to kill a mocking bird and the odessy... never again :) ... I supplement my books with movies ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did 10 weeks of DJing lessons in 4. Tried to throw a music festival and failed but learned alot in the process... honestly the most amazing thing i've done is followed my dreams without fear of failure... as they say " a master has failed more times than an amateur has even tried".

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to DJ!!!! Seriously, I love to teach this and wouldn't mind giving my host a lesson or two (these lessons would normally cost $100 each hour!!!). I can also help you open your mind/ give you a new perspective and I am sure you could do the same for me!!

I am down to learn anything honestly.. and when I mean anything I mean anything worth learning... I don't want to learn how to make paint bubbles with my nose ;) haha.

Share: I can share stories, life lessons, get me drunk, life skills and honestly I can share my super random and fun personality. I will turn you into an extrovert for the days I am chilling if you are an introvert :P ... if you are an omnivert well I'm like you! (I am very extroverted but I do need my down time to just relax and recharge).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Free DJ lessons!
I will help you with chores!
Can cook for you!
Can show you a good time!! Seriously, I am random and fun!
I will DJ for you for free!! Like if you are throwing a party, I will DJ at said party!
Life lessons!
Great conversation!
