If you're reading this, I'm gearing up for my 2021 road trip and looking for a few excellent hosts to share a little time with, some stories, some laughs, a meal or two, and then get back on with my trip. I am fully vaccinated and have always been cautious and will continue to be. A clean, safe, quiet roof over my head, and a safe spot to park my car, are my only requests.

Love taking road trips and driving, always down for adventure and a weekend get-away. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Going to and creating Couchsurfing events with locals and travelers at restaurants or other activities in town.
I can either be very involved in your stay with me, or you can be left alone to do your own thing. If I'm staying with you, I'd love advice on local places to go see/do/eat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted quite a few people and love it! I've stayed with quite a few as well. I've never had a bad experience! I've hosted people for as little as one night, and as long as 6 weeks, and at the end of each stay I wish they never had to leave. Sharing recipes, introducing foreigners to excellent American food, cooking for each other, cooking with each other, late night deep conversations with wine, or even just watching some awesome American TV. One of the guests I hosted actually ended up turning into my wife. We were together nearly three years before I divorced her.

Interessen

Movies, photography, drones, video games, cars, nerdy stuff, the beach, board games, cooking, laughing and having a good time. Honestly, anything, I love finding out about something new and just getting totally engrossed in it.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: I like action, comedy, documentaries, and foreign movies, but will watch anything once.
Music: I like anything up beat, techno/electronic stuff, top 40's, hip hop, but I'll listen to just about everything except country.
Books: I don't read as much as I'd like, have a stack I need to get through, but always taking recommendations!

Amazing huh... these stories should be told in person! But traveling 7,383 miles in 21 days in an electric vehicle solo through rural parts of America was incredible.
