ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old happy-go-lucky, up-for-anything, love-to-learn kind of spirit. My passions are surfing (or anything ocean related), hiking, traveling, and most of all playing music. I'm extremely extroverted and love making new connections with new people. Teaching others how to play music and surf are two of my favorite things to do on this planet, because the smile after your first wave or first song is unforgettable.

PHILOSOPHY

Be infectiously happy and supportive of everyone around me. I live to see smiles on the faces of everyone. Life is too short to be upset, so as Bobby McFerrin says "Don't worry, be happy."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just joined, currently have an overly full house (6 flat mates in a 4 bedroom), but would love to host when we get more room.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend "T" out here in Kauai has been participating in CS for a while now, and I've been lucky enough to meet most of the people that have stayed with him. Personally this is my first experience with CS.

I LOVE live music of any sort. Don't watch too many movies because I cant sit still for that long :) I love to read anything and everything, usually go for something comical.

Paddling a kayak around the Na Pali coast line on Kauai, in and out of sea caves, with pods of dolphins and phosphorescence, all by moon light. If you've never seen Na Pali, check out some picture on google images.

Teaching music is one of the most rewarding things i do in my life. I love when people say "I'm not a musical person", i take it as a personal challenge. Once you learn to play one song, you'll be hooked too. I've been playing ukulele and guitar for a little over a year now, so I've got a lot to learn and cant wait to jam with and learn from people around the globe. I love learning anything i dont know how to do already. Recently took up swing dancing and surf board repairing.
