What am I, really? What defines the essence of a person?

Anyway, here are few things about me:
I am a software engineer and I like what I do, and I like reading about science, technology, and all things related, but I'm not very geeky and don't put it into people's faces.
I love music, its a big part of my life. All kinds of music really, but I am usually drawn to something that is extraordinary and unique, even if in a very subtle way. I play a bit too.
Lately I'm also more and more interested in politics, guess that's a sign of aging.
I guess it is necessary to mention here that I like traveling, but I don't do it too often.
Discovering, experiencing, and learning new things is my driving force. That sense of accomplishment.
Some say I am very serious, but I don't think so, I like a good laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly right now I am just looking for someone to host me and my girlfriend during Roadburn festival in Tilburg, Netherlands, but who know, maybe someday I'll host someone myself.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Sparklehorse, Vic Chesnutt, Radiohead, Jesu, and Neurosis, but the list could go on and on...

Movies - the only thing that comes to my mind at the time of writing this is David Lynch. And his music too.

Books - its been a while since I've read one, I don't know. Life's too busy for that right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

People say I make a very serious face when I am concentrated. I have once scared away an annoying old lady in front of me in a line in a mall just by looking at her.
