Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed quite a bit in my hometown of Austin. Also done my fair share on the road, from California to Florida. I've never couchsurfed from this site, YET. Whenever settled, my cuoch/floor/yard has always been avalible. That's just how my Mama raised me.

I'm an explorer. I'm driven by a desire to know and to share. My greatest pleasure is exploring caves. I've been caving since I was 13 years old. I also love travel in general, and to explore new hiking, camping, swimming or other fun areas. That's what I love about caving, is that it often encompasses all of those other things I just mentioned. After Caving my favortie activity is probably riding my Bicycle, though enjoying a nice natural spring feed swimming hole is also quite devine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deep down in Mexico, within the state of Guerraro, high in the mountins there lies a cave known as Resumendario de Achauezotla. I doubt that I spelled that correctly, but that dosnt matter. This cave is a river cave, meaning that a river runs through it. Literaly a river cuts through a mountin, traviling about 3km underground, and droping more than 600m.

In the summer of 2001, I did two through trips into this cave. A through trip means we went in one enterance, and came out the other, literally crosing a mountin - underground.
