Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I'm down to use CS to better facilitate my habit of leaving Los Angeles on a whim, although my own couch may need to join the club soon enough.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my best friends from college used CS to get around in Spain. Meanwhile, I've lived in Maryland and California and vaguely recall Michigan, so I could really stand to fill out the rest of this country before making the leap out of it.

Interests

I'm pretty much a nerd for comic books, The Simpsons, major league baseball, and vinyl records.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book and movie are both High Fidelity and my favorite song is probably buried in there too. Lately, I've been listening to a lot of The Thermals, Jenny Owen Youngs, Be Your Own Pet and The Wallflowers. My favorite Beatle is Paul, my favorite Monkee is Mike. I read a lot of biographies, especially of people I think I respect that I'd like to hate over time. I love movies and documentaries about bands, real and fictional. As for novels, I loved Carter Beats the Devil and recently enjoyed the first half of The Graduate. I'd argue Man of Steel but I'm not done discussing Superman Returns after seven years.
