I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe it can provide avenues to start conversations that will stick with me for a long time and make friends in places I would otherwise perhaps just have acquaintances. I tend to just sit back and relax in big, busy, crowded environments; I mostly love small group conversations and hearing people's stories and experiences in life and travel!

As far as music goes, I enjoy quite a variety! Some favorites from lately are Animal Flag, Maxo Kreem, and Phoebe Bridgers.

My favorite movie would have to be a tie between Donnie Darko, and Fight Club. The Dark Knight is a close runner up.

In the past I have enjoyed Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s work, C.S. Lewis' more philosophical writings, and I'm slowly working in Alexander Solzhenitzyn's Gulag Archipelago.

If you ever get the chance, visit Casa Del Sol in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico and ask to go to Carlos' beach house. I don't know what it's like now but hopefully Carlos has figured out the transportation situation a bit more. A couple friends and I found ourselves out there at a point when it was absolutely gorgeous, however it did not have any plumbing, refrigeration, fresh water, or places to find these conveniences for quite a distance in any direction. We were right on the coast of the Atlantic swimming daily in crystal clear and glass flat ocean water. We eventually hitchhiked out of there but that was such an amazing thing to experience! I'd love to try to make it out there somehow again! Ask me about Carlos' beach house if you'd like! It's so fun to recall.

I have skills in Media Production and IT, I love to teach people what I know concerning these things. I have conversations about philosophical things on the daily and I love hearing what makes people tick and what they are passionate about. I can share a drink, a laugh, a conversation, some monetary compensation for a night out if we gather some people together for an evening as well!
