I am a divorced mother of two grown children. I like to do outdoor activities, and I like music and animals. I love any form of transport - canoe, ski, bike, plane - they are all fun for me.

I was recently introduced to travelling by couchsurfing by a friend, and really liked the experience. I am very curious to meet people and see the different ways people live their lives.

Cheesy 80's music. Bowie, Peter Gabriel. Deep Purple. I like bands like Arcade Fire and Radiohead (but don't know that many of their songs). I went to a Frank Turner concert recently, so I like that. I sing in a musical theatre group, and especially love Sondheim.

Favourite TV series: Dr Who, Reaking Bad, Last Kingdom, Stranger Things, Black Mirror, Sherlock, Marco Polo, Natue docs.

Favourite books: Catch 22, Holes, Graham Joyce, Robert Harris, Cloud Atlas

I like conversation, and laughter, but I am at ease with companionable silence. I always like to hike with people, or go out to shows or festivals. I can play board games with you, and I quite like video games (but am not very good at them). I am a good cook, and can help you with things like gardening or renovating. If you have animals or livestock, then I have skills of working with large and small animals.
