Hey there! I am a student studying chemical engineering with a minor in environmental engineering at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon USA. I have lived in Corvallis all of my life and I love the hippy dippy atmosphere and welcoming tone of the town. I am currently studying abroad at Lund University in Sweden! 🇸🇪 I have a curious mind (I never grew out of my "why?" phase) and I love to learn more about the world around me regardless of the topic. I am sociable, open-minded, sarcastic, and always excited to meet new people! ☺️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently in Europe and traveling a fair amount. I feel like the best way to experience a country is to stay with locals. I would also like to host when I return home to Oregon in December 2016!

Interests

I love to read and enjoy artwork since I paint and do ceramics. I also used to run competitively and so I still like to go on trail runs (which Corvallis has tons of!)

Music, Movies, and Books

There's too many good things in this category to list...I am into alternative rock (like Arctic Monkeys, Son Lux, etc.) but open to all genres! I enjoy going to live shows and music festivals.

For movies I really enjoy comedies and documentaries (the thought-provoking ones, not the stuffy, droning ones). I also will watch any Pixar film over and over again (especially Monsters Inc.)

I am an avid reader who is always open to suggestions! Current favorite book would be Catch 22.
