Hello! My name is Justine and I am a Graphic Designer currently living in Barcelona. I would like to start by saying that I am brand new to Couch Surfing which is why I have no references. But hopefully that will change soon!

I am originally English but grew up living and traveling overseas. I was born in Doha and then moved to KL, Prague, and then to England for university. Last year, after four years of living and working in London, I decided to move to Barcelona for a more relaxed life style and to be able to travel more and explore a different way of life. Because of my background I like to think of myself as very open minded and accepting, and I love to meet as many different kinds of people as possible, learn from people and get out of my usual bubble. I love seeing different ways of life as it inspires me. I like to take away something from everyone I meet!

I am very creative. I love the arts in general - I am a freelance graphic designer with a studio space here in Barcelona, and grew up always drawing or painting. I also love music and everything it has to offer - I love live music and festivals. I try to go to as many festivals as I can. I'm currently teaching myself how to mix/dj (slowly).

I am also learning Spanish :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from different walks of life, see more places and travel an alternative way to how I have in the past. Unfortunately I live in a house share so I cannot host at the moment but I would definitely be open to it in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up in different countries and have visited almost 60 countries in my lifetime.

On a smaller level, swimming with whale sharks in 120m deep water in Mexico was a life highlight!
