I'm a laid back, independent, sassy, empathetic soul. My job has kept me grounded lately, but I'm constantly itching to explore. I love to travel, cook and try new foods, and check out awesome, breathtaking views. I'm trying to learn how to camp, so teach me your ways!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I go to new places, I like to find out where the locals enjoy to visit, eat, drink and be merry. Also, traveling alone provides good opportunities to meet new people!

Right now, I'm not in a position to host surfers (one day, though!), but I've got a trip on the books this April in the Pacific Northwest so I'm looking to be hosted!

Interests

I'm really into taking in the views and getting out of the busy cityscapes from time to time. I love mountains, fresh air, amazing food (I'm a pescetarian), strong coffee, wine, reading, and hiking. My last international trips were Canada and Australia, both in 2017, and stateside, I've most recently hit up the North Georgia mountains, Asheville, Savannah, and Washington, DC.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month in the Philippines doing medical outreach - super amazing experience that changed the trajectory of my life. I went to the pyramids in Egypt, my sister and I took a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, and rode horseback through Bryce Canyon.

I love talking about my traveling adventures and my passion for global health and nursing. I'm a Christian so if you're traveling with me and looking for some fellowship, encouragement, or a church to visit, I can give you suggestions. I also speak the language of love known as COOKING. :)
