To be a voice of something beyond the mundane to those who don't yet know it.

ABOUT ME

I love God, music, and people. There is so much more to life than most people see, and I've been given a voice in order to help people see it. And as grandiose as that may sound, I'm working toward being better able to communicate with others. I am classically trained in vocal performance, as per my music degree, as well as piano, violin, theatre and dance. I have studied multiple languages and am a bit of a reading addict.
Also, I love engaging in intellectually stimulating conversations of all sorts, and I am always up for new experiences, and although I am usually a planner and like to know what's going on, it can be quite refreshing to just chill and go for a ride. One has to take the time to see the beauty in life. God put the roses there for us to see and smell, right?

PHILOSOPHY

My personal life philosophy is resonant with that of the writer of the book of Hebrews in the Bible, specifically chapter 12 verses one and two. Even just verse one says, "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every encumbrance which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm kinda new to this whole thing, but a big thing I've discovered recently is that there are cool people all over the world, and we just don't know about each other. So if we can all meet and make each other's lives even just a little bit better through whatever our gifts may be, let's do this thing.

As said before, I'm way into God, music, people, pretty much any form of art, be it performing, visual, or literary, philosophy, traveling, linguistics, the list kinda goes on for a long time.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as media I care about, I don't have any TV channels, and the main thing I use my DVD player for is for my pilates and yoga DVDs. I do, however, listen to just about any type of music, just so long as it's not dirty. I am all about the idea that we absorb everything around us, so how about listening to stuff that's positive and edifying? And as for books I love, the Bible is the one I read every day, but I particularly love classic literature and philosophy. And if you haven't read Les Miserables, you should.
