About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently traveling around Ireland.

ABOUT ME

I'd be a lifetime student if I could afford it (I'd study anthropology, sociology, linguistics, languages, neuroscience, and film, for starters). I'm sort of addicted to traveling. Practically anything will interest me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed for the first time in India with my friends Young (a prolific host in NZ) and Samir (both of whom I met 10 years ago while studying in Germany). It was a great experience; we were able to meet such a wide range of people whom we otherwise - perhaps - never would have come in contact with. We shared food, stories, laughter, etc. I have not had the opportunity to host any CS'ers in Brooklyn (too many roommates who were not on board), but when I lived in Italy I often invited travelers I met in hostels to stay with me in Bologna.

Interests

Languages. Hosting potlucks. History. Running. Yoga. Baking. Learning recipes from around the world. Theme parties (really stupid themes). Classic cocktails/microbrews/cheap wine. Vegetable gardens. Good coffee in the morning. Biking. Documentary film. Looking at old maps. Scavenging used book shops and thrift stores. Buying postcards and never sending them.
