I am an Australian recently returned to Melbourne after living for four years in Christchurch, New Zealand where I studied landscape architecture. I am slowly reconnecting with family, friends, and the unique Australian landscape. In June I will be traveling to the States to visit my partner who lives there.
I really love to meet people and hang out over a wine!
'The river laughed. Yes, so it was, everything came back, which had not been suffered and solved up to its end, the same pain was suffered over and over again.' -Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse
I live slowly, practice meditation, and avoid getting too caught up in the fast pace of city life. I believe that life is potent with wealth only if you slow down enough to see and feel it. I believe in honesty and treating people with compassion.
And I love wine, food and adventuring!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't couchsurfed in a while but have done in England, Bulgaria, Romania and Austria. While living in New Zealand we commonly had hitch hikers and travelers staying with us.
Always positive- it is such a fantastic way to meet people even just briefly, and hopefully repay the favour in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love old school 90s movies: Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, Clueless etc, or the complete other end of the spectrum: Documentaries or moving films with beautiful cinematography.
Almost anything with raw instrumental, and blues, folk, hip hop.
I read mostly non-fiction stuff relating primarily to design or art. My favourite current book would be Boomtown 2050 by Richard Weller about population growth in Australia. I am currently reading a book on the History of Art, and another one about Hatha Yoga.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the Heaphy Track in New Zealand
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, and a bit of Indonesian. I would certainly be happy to pass on my knowledge in design or anything else!
