ABOUT ME

Hello to all! My name is Justine and am from Montreal, Canada.
I quit my corporate job in April and left to go volunteer as an EFL teacher in Sri Lanka.
I love to laugh and have a good time (life shouldn't be taken too seriously, right?!).
I love to talk, but prefer listening to people and hear their life stories.
I am adventurous and especially curious. I am sociable, love meeting new people and enjoy being able to share great moments with those who touch my heart.
Couchsurfing is therefore a great opportunity for me to meet like-minded people!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everything happens for a reason. I believe that taking a leap of faith can bring you to the most amazing experiences. Being spontaneous and wanting to explore is the best way to learn not only about yourself but about those around you as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My couch surfing experience is quite limited, but hey, it only takes one kind person to change that!

Interests

I cannot live a day without hearing music in my ears. I also have a sweet spot for 80's music, which makes me think that I lived in this decade and am on my second life..
I love working out and always being physically active.
I love nature, the outdoors and wandering about.
I have a big passion for photography (I secretly wish I worked for National Geographic- it's good to have dreams, right!?).
Being a little fish in the sea, I have found a passion for diving and discovering the underwater world. Having been a synchronized swimmer, I just love everything water-related.

I find beauty in the most simplest thing. There isn't one thing that you can show me and talk to me about that I won't be interested in getting to know. I am mesmerized by everything that the world has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Talk to me about movies, TV shows or the lives of the rich & famous, and the best that I will be able to do is nod (you now know how to keep me quiet, not that I babble away anyways...).
Give me any book and I will get captured into the story. I love pretty much any kind of music, from jazz music, to electric dance music to R&B. Of course being a hopeless romantic that I am, I love the big romance movies, but also enjoy action movies.
