Overview
About Me
Trying to figure out my place in the world and have some fun too! I've done a variety of work, from tutoring autistic and ESL students, technical support, working with foster parents, and being a regional organizer for the Democratic party. Most recently I handle hotel reservations, which is just making me more restless. I want to see things and experience something new!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've couch surfed twice before: once in Albuquerque, and once in San Antonio after coming back from Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Both times were amazing experiences with people that I felt taught me something about living a fuller life. It's amazing how this community attracts amazing people who are so open and generous with strangers.
By couchsurfing I get to meet awesome people who show me what's up about their cities and make friends. That's especially valuable to me now, as I'm looking to move out of New Mexico in 2017.
Interests
I love board games, hiking, camping, riding my bike, urban exploring, horseback riding, computer games, and sometimes partying.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Too much! I love metal of all varieties (especially black metal), indie rock and pop, experimental, synthwave, dark electro, most African music I have gotten to listen to, J-pop, on the right occasion jazz too.
Recently I have been particularly pleased to discover Arcas and Son Lux.
Movies: Is it bad that I am not huge into movies? I tend to go for horror (not particularly fond of the extra gory stuff), indie, anime, and whatever is going to put me in a different mindspace.
Books: I binged on A Song of Ice and Fire and right when I got caught up A Dance with Dragons was released. I was there at the midnight release, eagerly read it, and here I am... 7 years later waiting for the next novel to be released. People tell me just to watch A Game of Thrones, but the transition is a challenge. I'm just a fan of fantasy in general, as well as horror. My favorite short story is Mrs. Todd's Shortcut by Stephen King.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Going up and down the Grand Canyon in one day with my friends was awesome. We were EXHAUSTED by the time we got back to the top! During that trip we saw a California Condor. Really cool.
2. Surviving a rollover accident without a scratch was something I won't soon forget.
What I Can Share with Hosts
