Hi everyone! I am currently 21 years of age and in my fourth of my Mechanical Engineering degree. My degree specialization is Mechatronics which is a mixture of mechanical, electrical and software engineering. I am from Vancouver, British Columbia and study at UBC. Currently I am working as a software development intern working at Verity Studios on programming flying robots.

I am travelling around Europe on weekends and would love to meet people during my travels. Also, I'm pretty broke as a student... tuition in Canada is insane!

In my spare time I enjoy programming. I can spend hours scouring through a textbook on software concepts. I also love to read, whether it be autobiographies, sci fi fiction, I love them all!

My favorite sport is swimming, I love the feeling of floating in water. Swimming in beautiful oceans and lakes is always a lot of fun too! I also enjoy running and going on scenic hikes.

I am a big fan of Stephen King, all his books are great. I also loved reading The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss. Recently I just finished The Book Thief; it is definitely one of the best books I have ever read. Since coming to Europe, I have mainly been reading World War 2 books (Anne Frank, Unbroken, Maus).
