ABOUT ME

I am a generally easygoing guy with a very adventurous attitude. I am also very much a fan of learning new cultures and meeting new people. Joined couchsurfing to help me meet locals and maybe share some of my experiences as well.

PHILOSOPHY

Learning is life. We are simply the sum of our experiences - I would never know I loved rock climbing / playing violin / or playing a game of Go (weichi) if I had never had the opportunity and initial opportunity to try.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to surfing but I am very interested in meeting new people and making new friends. I travel quite often but when I am home I am happy to host (usually Weekends)

Mostly friends I met through school / work / family.

Interests

I like pretty much everything but more than most I enjoy:
Rock climbing, wakeboarding, surfing, eating, drinking socially, trying new food, hiking, exploring new cities, dancing.

My favorite topics to discuss include all the above items as well as most anything from politics to television shows (although i am not well versed on the latter).

Music, Movies, and Books

Almost anything. I usually watch witty movies with humor and complex plots, I listen to upbeat music (especially if you can dance to it), and I read guide books and fiction novels.

I love to teach anything I know - few ideas...

Rock Climbing, English/Spanish, Wood-working, world travel knowledge (I've been to ~39 countries), Go / Weichi, many topics in healthcare and pharma.
