About Me

As far as my standards of travelling are concerned I don't need a lot and adjust very well. To quote my mum :"Don't worry about what she wants to eat, she'll be perfectly happy as long as she has someone to talk to!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing a great way to get to know places through its people's point of view, this makes you see the place differently (:
- reversed: I love to guide people around and tell them about the little things which make a place my home but nobody from outside may see.

Interests

I work as a volunteer for international exchange students, play the piano and try to play the ukulele, I love playing theater, swimming/ live-guarding, and of course travelling and meeting new people! I have a broad interest in politics and international affairs and therefore love to have discussions with people who bring a new perspective into a debate.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is always great! I listen to almost everyone and everything but I like it best when you listen to it with the right people. My family gets frequently visited by international musicians and I love to join their concerts, as to me they create a super cozy and familiar atmosphere.

Some of my favorite movies are Cloud Atlas; the adjustment bureau, a beautiful mind, the kings speech, forrest gump and so many more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the past years I have lived with people from 8 different countries, most of them were students that my family hosted for a year. The great thing about sharing not only ones living spaces but also ones every day life, time, ideas and thoughts with someone from a different country is that ones own perspective gets challenged everyday. I have not only learned incredible things about different cultures and people but I also gained many new family members. These experiences have fostered my wish of sharing the idea of diminishing borders across the world and I believe that couch surfing is already a great place to start.
