ABOUT ME

A coffee aficionado and a lover of music. I travel to challenge myself and my way of thinking. Every new person is a journey in itself. I think everyone should have a passion for something, be it whatever they choose. Living a life devoid of passion isn't living at all.

Deep enough? Don't worry, I am not going to bore you to death face-to-face...hopefully. I do enjoy unadultered and simple FUN as well.

PHILOSOPHY

Once you get over being depressed by how much everything in life sucks, pretty much everything becomes highly amusing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Positive this far and before finding CS.org. Having a host that lives in your destination gives tremendous depth to your stay there, be it simple directions and places or finding a friend.

I listen to a lot of music and enjoy discussing it as much. To be more specific, I love all sorts of electronic music from experimental to high-tempo dance stuff. I try to regularly visit gigs of the latter sort, since dancing is the best sort of escapism. On the other side I like cinematic and often slow-paced post-rock to immerse oneself in. I'm open to anything though, be it singer-songwriter stuff or heavy metal.

I'm not as frantic about cinema as I am with music, but I do love some Tarkovsky, Haneke and Aronosfky.

Watching shooting stars on the hotel held by the indigenous people of Thailand on the river Kwai was special.

I can teach a thing or two about coffees, preparing them and why certain coffee tastes like it does. I usually have a good variety of stuff at home, so you might get a cup or two, if you're surfing. I do not take responsibility, if you start spending obscene amount of money buying different kind of coffee beans though.

I'm open to philosophical debate, but I won't guarantee that anyone will learn anything. I can cook Finnish stuff? Dunno, but I'm a pretty good cook in general.
