I'm the guy who can't stand an empty spot in your calendar. I seem to have a soft spot for things that occupy a lot of my spare time, whether it's sports, camping, music or volunteering - not to mention my double degree Master's studies.

I wouldn't define myself by my CV, but I feel like my volunteering background - spanning over 10 years now - helps to explain the man behind the written words. I've volunteered for 10 societies or organizations, in three countries, holding a board position in six of them, two of which I am a founding member of.

I've organized dozens of events, sat through hundreds of meetings, and generally spent my life with friends I've loved for causes I care about.

I'm into all kinds of sports, especially endurance and adventure sports. "Be happy with what you have achieved, work hard for what you want", so yeah, I'm happy having completed a few marathons and am aiming for a 50k run in 2015.

I'm a huge fan of movies with a twist, music that wakes you up and books offering an intellectual take-away.

Without modern technology, my to-read list would span a few note books, but I try to make the time to shorten that list in the near future - and yeah, people don't "have" time, they either make the time or they don't!

During my exchange in Shanghai, China, I got the chance to visit a few gorgeous places. My favorite thing was climbing up Huangshan, the Yellow Mountain, to see the phenomenal sunset from the top.
