Hiya! I'm 24 years old mathematician from Helsinki. I work at a book publisher and I'm studying in the University of Helsinki (mathematics education and special education; this really makes me sound nerdy but I love to hear about the other school systems around the world!). Right now I'm doing my exchange program in Korea University so I'm not able to offer my couch until the beginnig of 2017. But see you after that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed a couple of times, and it has been a lot of fun. We have a couple of extra beds/couches with my roommate so I'd be more than happy to meet new people from all around the world!

Right now I'm really focusing on finishing my studies at the university. However, I'll never say no to interesting concerts or film festivals!

Okay, movies, music and books are like 95% of my life. I love going to concerts and dancing, and I sometimes play guitar and sing and other stuff. And in Helsinki there are a couple of very nice little movie theathers, where I spend a little too much of my spare time! Oh and books. I'm always reading something and I like everything from old classics to new, well, classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I danced in the front row of Björk and she was so close that I could see her toes clenching. Oh those tiny little toes. One of the most beautiful moments of my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've got a very small apartment with my friend and since we're students we don't have much to offer (food or something), but we sure have a big couch! And the apartment is right next to Helsinki Centre and there's a supermarket right outside the front door. But I'd love to show places in Helsinki, it's a town filled with culture if you know where to look for it!
