One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In New York, many buildings - especially hotels - have names. When i was in Richmond, Virginia, a friend I made there suggested we go to "The James" to go swimming. I understood it to be the name of a hotel we were going to sneak into. The James is a river. Maybe all of you knew that, but it was news to me. We swam anyway, of course.
