About Me

Hello! We are a couple traveling overland through Mongolia and Central Asia.

We enjoy slow travel, meeting local people, and learning about everyday life beyond guidebooks. I’m an independent artist, so this journey is also a way for me to experience different cultures and landscapes firsthand. We are respectful, tidy, and easygoing guests, always happy to share conversations, meals, or lend a hand if needed.

We hope to exchange stories, learn from each other, and make this journey more meaningful through the people we meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We’re on Couchsurfing to meet local people, hear their stories, and experience everyday life and culture through real connections. We love learning from others and sharing our own experiences along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch stand-up comedy, sci-fi (Black Mirror), thrillers (You), drama, and video art. I read about feminism, consumerism, and solarpunk. I listen to everything, especially synthwave and indie.
My boyfriend, A Jiatai, enjoys Mongolian rap, is learning Mongolian calligraphy, and reads stories about different cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve had the chance to go on a 6,000 km road trip across Europe by car, trek across the Everest region from China to Nepal on foot, and take a train journey along the Nile River in Egypt. Each trip showed me incredible landscapes, cultures, and human stories that stay with me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share art, fishing, planting, and languages — Cantonese, Mandarin, Italian, and English. I’m also learning German.

My boyfriend, A Jiatai, is Mongolian from Inner Mongolia, China. He studies math, loves history and religion, and speaks Mongolian.

We’re excited to exchange skills, stories, and experiences with our hosts.
