Right now I'm really into a style of communication called NVC (non-violent a.k.a. compassionate communication). I'm also into cooking meals with organic whole foods.

My partner is a chiropractor who enjoys cycling, running, SAILING, and travel. He's one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted a few people and had great experiences. Every couch surfer we've hosted have shared amazing stories with us and have been very respectful guests! I haven't had the opportunity to couchsurf myself but I'm looking forward to it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a sucker for Sex and the City and the Harry Potter books, also books and movies set in India. I also dig Ayn Rand, Tad Williams, Isabel Allende, house music, Grateful Dead, trance, Deadmau5, minimal tech, middle eastern music, John Mayer, Jewel, Dave Matthews, anyone who sounds great live, Kenny Chesney.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've camped out on the Utah salt flats under a full moon in the summer. Surreal! Definitely something I want to do again before I die.

Took a month long sailing trip from St. Thomas to Grenada and stopped at lots of islands along the way. A favorite memory is doing the night watch on the way back and listening to Christmas music on radio stations from all the islands we passed by in the balmy night.

I think this community is all about pay-it-forward. Give what you can joyfully give when others are in need and know you have planted a seed for them to do the same :)
