About Me

Currently... I am a Business Consultant at a major firm. I travel a lot, work 9 to 7pm almost everyday, and sometimes even weekends.... I own a restaurant with a few friends, and also a beef cattle farm with some others... I am studying a masters in Finance and also getting a certification in Lean Six Sigma....

It sounds like I am a very busy man, with most of my time being spent in business things... However.... I don't see myself like that... I quite enjoy everything I do and, surprisingly, I always have time to get into new things and do some other stuff... I go cycling every day at 5 am, go to the gym and have dinner with friends almost every day and also watch a lot of netflix during the night...

The truth is only do things that make me happy....for example, I feel very motivated working to solve problems with my colleagues and achieving outstanding results for our clients... I am REAALLY happy every time I go to "Los Llanos Orientales" to see my cattle, ride a horse, drink "Llanero" and listen to "Llanera music".... and I do enjoy a lot owning a restaurant to manage and apply my business skills in a real environment....

That being said, I think of myself as a very happy and positive man. I enjoy every little thing, just as much as the big things. I try to see and get the best of every situation... which is why I almost never got stressed nor get upset. I laugh a lot... and love sarcastic jokes (you must! specially when you are busy enough to understand that everything you can make fun of... is being busy)...

I love to travel and walk... walk a lot....
I like to drink aguardiente, rum or beer. I like to eat pizza (Tomato only), hand made burgers and ribs...
I like to talk about places, countries, movies, TV series, Finance, Cattle, Horses and life itself...
I do not like to talk about Politics, nor economics or religious stuff...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I traveled a lot between 2016 and 2011... I went and sometimes lived in different countries (Brazil, UK, US), and met a lot of different and interesting people, which i now call friends... After some time of steady work in a very stable job as a Business Consultant at a major firm, I want to take some time off and start traveling again, get to meet interesting people again and increase the number of friends I have. I feel the need to do it... to feel free again... and I think using Couchsurfing would be the best way to achieve this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have sky dived in Miami and scuba dived in Curacao and some other places... I have also ridden horses in "Los Llanos Orientales"... and many other things... however, I think the most amazing thing I have done has been lived in Florianopolis, Brazil. I spent almost a year just surfing and sleeping in a hamaca, sharing a bed with a cousing... and having such a great peaceful problem free unattached life... The whole experience was just amazing and I miss it everyday! :)
