About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Freedom baby....I'm going for freedom!

ABOUT ME

I'm trying to reduce my carbon footprint and so have curbed my flying. But I still love traveling so I'm taking trains and buses now and loving the slow travel style.

I am a seafood vegetarian. I don't smoke anything or drink alcohol. I know I sound squeeky clean and let's face it, I kind of am, but that doesn't mean that I'm not also awesome!

I'm part of an ecovillage project on Gambier Island in BC. It is called the Lightwork Ecovillage and we have 80 acres, 2 homes, and about 10 members wanting to live there. We are in process with building the homes using sustainable methods (cob, strawbale). It is a lifelong commitment and a very satisfying one!

I live in Vancouver during the week and most summer weekends I'm camping at the Ecovillage.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to remember who I am in every moment. I am a spiritual being having a human experience. Try to be kind to others and therefore to myself. Non - judgement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled a lot in the 90s before this site existed. I hosted a couch surfer recently that I met by happenstance so thought I'd try the site out myself.
