About Me

ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and having new experiences.. I live with my partner Doug and our 3 year old pup Rilo. We are open to hosting couchsurfers occasionally but get a lot of requests, so apologies if it doesn't work out. We have an extra bedroom with a comfy futon and ideally would like to host people that are friendly and like to hang out, but also self-sufficient travelers for when we are not available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up during a 6-month trip through South America and Europe and I love meeting people from around the world. Also down to host in San Francisco when I can.

Interests

I love traveling, music festivals, Burning Man. I enjoy photography and and many different art forms, and I love the process of documenting adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Sufjan Steven, Chemical Brothers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Courtney Barnett, to name a few. I prefer deep house/techno if out dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most memorable moments was during my backpacking trip to Machu Picchu. We hiked up to the Saltankay pass (15,000) elevation. Here I saw two avalanches, and experience freezing weather, but it was so incredibly beautiful the cold didn't matter. What made it even better that we descended down into the high jungle on the same day. From here I felt like I experienced two completely different high elevation climate and locations in a matter of hours.

Another one of my favorite experiences, was the first time I saw night time at Burning Man. Never have I seen so much creativity and positive energy in one place. It truly is something that everyone should experienced.
