PHILOSOPHY

I always try to put myself in other people's shoes, rather than judging them.

I have a personal goal to always keep an element of whimsy in my life, and not waste my time overly-worrying about where life is going to take me next.

I want to always make people feel welcome and warm around me, just the way I'd like to feel around them.

I love traveling and I love people. Mixed together, it's the perfect cocktail for happiness. ^.^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have travelled all over the U.S. and parts of Canada, and have crashed on a couch or two, in my time. Mostly family friends or friends of friends, but I love meeting new people. :)

Música, películas y libros

Movies: All sorts! Artsy, foreign, action, drama, fantasy, sci fi, oldies ... mostly, I just don't care for horror films -- unless they are old/cheesy ones -- those, I love

Music: There is very little music that I don't like, and I will be honest about it if I don't. Celtic folk music is my standby, but I enjoy rock, show tunes, jazz, steampunk, a touch of metal ... and just about anything else.

Book: Good Lord, don't get me started! I love classics, fantasy, sci fi, history, philosophy ... I could go on forever.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Kayaked out to a remote location and hiked barefooted into the jungle in Kauai.
It was incredible. Ended up getting to eat lunch sitting below a gorgeous waterfall.

Love the people around you and do something to make them feel valued.

Take care of your body -- it's the only one you've got, and, personally, I want it to have a long shelf life.

Always remember that your decisions and actions rarely affect just you. We're all connected, one way or another.
