About Me

I'm an easy going, down to earth explorer of cultures, people, food, and knowledge. I believe that if a journey into any of these endeavors isn't filled with surprises, the unknown, and in some cases doesn't seriously invade your comfort zone, then you're doing something wrong.

I love everything about food - I love to make it, share it, eat it and talk about it - especially that which is unfamiliar.

My pursuit of knowledge has led me to become a scientist: my current project is trying to find a cure for HIV/AIDS.

My personal philosophy is that truly understanding your own beliefs and way of life is impossible until you've tried to experience someone else's.

Happiness for me comes from novelty and exploration (with interesting people).
