My mission is to see as much of the world as I can.

ABOUT ME

I think my friends would tell you that I have a great sense of humour, I am a good listener, I am interested in learning things from the people I meet (what makes them who they are, their life experiences, how we are different from each other and what we have in common). I think they would say that I am kind, thoughtful, easy going and up for new experiences. I am a vegetarian and love trying local vegetarian dishes in the places I visit.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have surfed with 2 awesome people in China, 1in Seattle and a lovely couple Italy. I also hosted a gal from Germany (was supposed to be for a couple of day but everything worked out so well that she stayed with me for several months while she was working in my town).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is the perfect way to meet other people, learn about their culture and get expert advise on the things to see and do in their area. Most of my travel so far has been with friends but I decided that it will be good for me to try going solo. Although this is a bit outside my comfort zone, I know it allows me to meet people and have experiences that I wouldn't otherwise have.

Interesses

I love being out in nature....walking, hiking, observing....I love seeing animals in their natural habitat. I love to travel even if sometimes it is done vicariously through someone else's adventure. I want to see as much of the world as I can.

I love variety and being exposed to new ideas, ways of thinking about things, etc.

Music- my all time favorite is listening to my grandkids making music....guitar, piano, pots and pans.....doesn't matter; it's all awesome!

-having the privilege of going on safari in a remote nature reserve in Zimbabwe and spending sundown with a large herd of elephant at their watering hole....I will never forget this...
