Travel, live, love, learn and get in adventures... live life to the max
I have been living & working in New York and Maine as a videographer, photographer & graphic designer. Before that I spent 2 years living in Vancouver, Canada. My first trip out of Australia was in 2002 when I did an exchange to a university in upstate New York. After which I lived in London then traveled Europe and Thailand for 5 weeks on my way home. I have had several trips since then and plan on having many more... i get restless! I think the best part about traveling is the people. Meeting locals gives you a much better understanding of the place you are in and most of the time you experience things more like a local than a tourist. I would rather have dinner with a group of locals than take a picture in front of a monument.
"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."
