HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently have a comfy couch in a Vancouver one bedroom I share with my partner, Kelly. Have stayed with awesome hosts in Vienna and Berkeley. Hosted more in 2009-2010.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was stranded in NY. We had missed our flight and would have four days to spend in Manhattan until the next departed for NZ. We were broke, so we filled our days bouldering in central park. We related our story to a fellow climber who introduced us to couchsurfing.com, offering us his couch. Unfortunatly we were leaving the next day and couldn't avail him of his offer, but the idea stuck and now that I have a place I am excited to contribute.

Climbing. Rocks, ice, snow, buildings, anything really. Reading, occasional writing. Math, evolutionary biology. Friends, bonfires, guitars, and beer. Great debates. Treeplanting.
