CURRENT MISSION

Currently, I am trying to fit as much life, learning, adventure, and travel into a few years of my life!

ABOUT ME

I realize now how hard it is to describe me with no boundaries. No guidelines. In this case, I suppose I should say that I am outgoing, caring, and passionate. I love to meet new people and make friends easily. I care deeply about my relationships with other people, am very generous, and value good times that we share. I put my heart into everything I do, and try to stay away from things I don't believe are good-natured. I have hope for the future and am fairly optimistic. (with a touch of practicality)

PHILOSOPHY

A good friend of mine once told me that he wanted to live a life that was beguiling to others, and I agree. Personally, I love this philosophy:

To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch...to know even one life has brethed easier because you have lived. I have way too many interests to list, but a brief synopsis would be that I love people, movies, music, sports, the outdoors, traveling, reading, and loving my family.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a very eclectic person. I listen to country,rap, and show tunes, among others. I'm a sucker for music because I can never sit still during a good song. Music moves me and I'm not afraid of it. I like cheesy girl movies, stories of war heroes, comedies, and horror films. I don't read as much as I'd like, but love to read mystery or suspense novels. A good love story never killed me either.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to spend 8 weeks on disaster relief in Mississippi after Hurrican Katrina. I am getting ready to go to Antarctica for 11 weeks.
